Product Description

Magnesium Oxide Fireproof Board (MGO board) is a building material widely used in construction. The stable magnesium colloid is reinforced by middle alkali glass fiber net and stuffed by light material, resulting in a new frameless decorative material that is 100% Asbestos-free and contains no radioactivity.

🔥Flame Proof
Resistant to combustion at 800°C and remains flameless at 1,200°C.
💧Waterproof
Resistant to deformation in wet environments.
💪Strength
Bendable and impact resistant with high durability.
🔇Sound Insulation
Sound loss through a 6mm thick plate is approximately 29dB.
❄️Cold Resistance
Can be used effectively at temperatures as low as -40°C.
🌿Eco-Friendly
Free of asbestos, formaldehyde, and ammonia.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Magnesium Oxide (MGO) board?
MGO board is a mineral-based green building material. It is made from magnesium oxide, magnesium chloride, and glass fiber mesh, offering superior fireproof and waterproof properties compared to traditional wood or gypsum products.
Is the board truly fireproof?
Yes, it is rated as Grade A non-combustible. It can resist combustion at 800°C and remains flameless even at 1,200°C, providing a fire-resisting limit of up to 180 minutes.
Does it contain any harmful materials like asbestos?
No, our Magnesium Oxide boards are 100% asbestos-free, formaldehyde-free, and ammonia-free, making them safe for both residential and commercial environments.
How does it perform in wet or cold environments?
The board is highly resistant to deformation in wet conditions and can withstand extreme cold down to -40°C, making it suitable for various climates and indoor/outdoor applications.
Can I easily install and finish the board?
Absolutely. It is easy to cut, saw, nail, and stick. The glossy surface finishing also makes it easy to paint or apply veneers for decorative purposes.
What are the typical applications for MGO boards?
Common uses include wall panels, ceiling panels, fireproof partitions, sandwich panel skins (SIPs), and as a substrate for decorative finishes in building construction.
